Imagine you are living in Smokey...

Given that food is generally available, you have two immediate concerns.
First, you need to survive to the endless number of diseases. Particularly TB, hepatitis, typhoid, tetanus and other garbage-related ones, including infections.
Luckily enough, you are not exposed to malaria or dengue fever because not even mosquitoes can make it here.
Second, in the fortunate event you do survive the diseases, you are still stuck in hell.
This project first tries to solve your health concerns.
Nobody in Smokey is immunized. While you might have some impressive antibodies… there is still little chance you can dodge all diseases.
The Canossian fathers run a clinic in Tondo. They are registered as foundation and are entitled to import medicines. The problem is the lack of financial resources.
This project will collect funds from private donors, to start immunizing kids in Smokey for TB, typhoid, hepatitis A, tetanus and polio. We have an estimated cost per child of $50.

The more funds we collect, the more people we can reach.
